Charges Dismissed – DUI
July 18, 2024 – A DUI can have serious consequences beyond financial and traffic implications. In our case, our client was driving home after a difficult personal day and was contacted by police following a minor fender bender. Despite being charged with a DUI, our client maintained his innocence. After intense negotiations with the district attorney, the case was finally dismissed prior to trial.
Charges Dismissed – Child Abuse Case
April 18, 2024 – Child abuse charges are a difficult experience for any person, to say nothing about the guilt a parent feels for neglecting their child. Our client was charged with child abuse because of a neglectful situation, but immediately realized the mistake they had made. Full of guilt, our client was able to rectify the problem, clean their house completely, and work with DHS to ensure their case was dismissed and the family could stay together.
Charges Dismissed – Domestic Violence
June 9, 2024 – Domestic violence charges are filed against someone accused of an act of violence, or any other legal violation for the purposes of power, coercion, control, retaliation, or intimidation, against an intimate partner. Our client was accused of an act of domestic violence against their partner. Prager Law was able to secure dismissal of those charges.
Charges Reduced to Misdemeanor – Felony Motor Vehicle Theft
June 12, 2024 – Aggravated motor vehicle theft is a serious charge that can result in significant felony consequences. Our client was charged with felony aggravated motor vehicle theft. Attorney Steve Prager worked with the client to prepare a mitigation package and ensure the client pled to a much less severe misdemeanor charge and avoid a felony conviction.
Charges Reduced to Traffic Infraction – DUI
May 30, 2024 – Our client was charged with a DUI with a low blood alcohol level. This client recognized their serious mistake and immediately took steps to address their drinking on the advice of Attorney Steve Prager. Our client went to alcoholics anonymous and took alcohol responsibility classes. In the end, we were able to negotiate a non-alcohol related, 8 point ticket to avoid an alcohol-related driving charge.
Charges Dismissed – Burglary
August 6, 2024 – Our client was charged with burglary and theft. This client maintained his innocence, and the evidence uncovered by Prager Law suggested the case should not have been filed at all. Ultimately, the case was dismissed by the district attorney.

March 4, 2025 – Drug cases can have significant consequences on a person’s life. This client took steps recommended by Prager Law to provide mitigation to the prosecution. As a result, the case was dismissed by the district attorney.
Charges Dismissed – Hazing
March 27, 2025 – Hazing is an unusual charge that can arise out of misconduct related to clubs and other organizations. Our client maintained his innocence and Prager Law fought for him, ultimately resulting in dismissal of all charges.

February 21, 2025 – Our client was charged with misdemeanor assault in relation to a drug bust in downtown Denver. After providing evidence that negated the guilt of our client, Prager Law was able to secure dismissal of all charges.

December 4, 2024 – Our client was charged with assault in the first degree, a very serious case that can carry up to 32 years in prison in some instances. However, after Prager Law provided evidence proving our client was not the right defendant, the district attorney dismissed the charges.

March 17, 2025 – Assault can be a significant charge resulting in jail or prison time. Our client was charged with an assault that was caught on video. After Prager Law intervened, our client did not have to worry about an assault conviction and instead received a deferred sentence to a petty offense, serving no jail time and only doing community service.

November 5, 2024 – Our client was charged with driving under the influence in a mountain community. Prager Law was able to secure dismissal of the case after presenting the prosecution with issues in their case that would have been insurmountable in trial. Instead of probation, our client did not even have to go to trial.

April 4, 2025 – Vehicular eluding is a serious offense that many judges sentence harshly. Our client was charged in a case that included eluding. Prager Law was able to secure a simple misdemeanor offer on a case that the judge acknowledged would probably have resulted in prison time had it gone to trial and ended in a conviction.

January 15, 2025 – Our client made credible accusations of domestic violence against a former partner. Prager Law handled the hearing and ensured that a permanent protection order entered against the former partner, protecting our client from contact.
Red Light Charges Not Guilty
January 24, 2025 – Our client went to trial on a case that charged her with careless driving and a red-light violation. Attorney Steve Prager represented her at trial and secured a not guilty verdict.

March 3, 2025 – Attorney Steve Prager was able to get a DUI charge reduced to a DWAI, resulting in lower fines, community service, and probation length along with avoiding any jail time.

February 3, 2025 – Attorney Steve Prager ensured that our client did not have to deal with a DUI conviction when he secured a lower charge in a plea agreement after providing information that demonstrated the prosecution would have a difficult time at trial. Our client was able to get their license back within a few months and move on with their life.

April 2, 2025 – Our client was initially charged with a felony gun charge in downtown Denver. This charge can result in up to six years in prison. Prager Law was able to get the felony charge and jail time dismissed, and our client received only probation with community service on a misdemeanor.
